Turneringen spilles i Sverige. Kampene skal spilles i Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö og Skövde.

-Draw 2006 Women's European Championship Play-off matches
The qualification tournaments as the first phase of the qualification for the 2006 Women's European Championship in Sweden are completed. The next step in the qualification process for the 2006 Women's European Championship are the play-off matches which will take place on 27/28 May and 3/4 June 2006.
The draw for the play-offs will be carried out on the occasion of the 2005 Women's World Championship, final day in the arena “Ice Palace” in St. Petersburg, Russia on Sunday
18 December 2005, 10:00 hrs. (local time). Please find more details below.
Draw Procedure
Date: Sunday 18 December 2005
Time: 10:00 hrs. (local time)
Venue: St. Petersburg, Russia
Altogether 16 teams will participate in the final tournament of the 2006 Women's European Championship in Sweden.
NOR (defending champion), DEN, HUN, RUS, GER (ranked 2 to 5 at the EURO 2004 in Hungary) and the organiser SWE - altogether 6 teams – are already qualified directly for the Final Tournament in Sweden.
The remaining ten places will be decided via play-off matches in May/June 2006.
The participants are:
Qualified for Play-off:
· From WCh RUS (9 teams): AUT, CRO, FRA, MKD, NED, POL, ROM, SLO, UKR
· From ECh HUN (4 teams): BLR, CZE, ESP, SCG
· By qualification tournaments (7 teams): BUL, ISL, ITA, LTU, POR, SVK, TUR
Draw
· 9 Teams in pot 1 (yellow balls): AUT, CRO, FRA, MKD, NED, POL, ROM, SLO, UKR
· 4 Teams in pot 2 (yellow balls): BLR, CZE, ESP, SCG
· 7 Teams in pot 3 (yellow balls): BUL, ISL, ITA, LTU, POR, SVK, TUR
Procedure:
· First step: One team of pot 3 is drawn against one team of pot 1 (7 times)
· Second step: One team of pot 2 is drawn against one team of pot 1 (2 times)
· Third step: Remaining two teams of pot 2 are drawn against each other

Noen som vet hvor jeg kan få tak i en billett til kampene i EM?! Jeg har sjekket de fleste internett sidene, men finner ingenting!
